The Legend of Zelda

Nintendo confirms there's no digital show for E3 2016

During their Investors Meeting Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda for Wii U would be the only playable title at this year's E3.  They have now confirmed that there will be no digital event, meaning it is just Zelda.

Fans had hoped/assumed that other upcoming titles such as Paper Mario: Color Splash and Pokémon Sun/Moon would be shown during a Direct, but it seems it is all Zelda this year.

From 17:00 BST on Tuesday 14th June a Reggie-fronted Treehouse Live will kick off a day of The Legend of Zelda coverage.  Developers and other Nintendo employees will show off features of the game while attendees will be able to give it a go themselves.

The coverage will be streamed on Twitch and fans can check out the Nintendo E3 website for further information both before and during the show.

Let us know what you think of this Zelda-only approach Nintendo is taking for E3 2016 in the comments section below.
