Nintendo have today announced Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata will be hosting a new Nintendo Direct due to stream tomorrow, October 1st at 3pm (UK & Ireland)/4pm CET.

All that has been mentioned about the possible contents of the ND are that they will provide updates on previously announced software coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in the remainder of 2013. However with todays maintenance of Nintendo's online servers and the long awaited "Summer Update" promised for the Wii U overdue, the closeness of both the maintenance and the new Direct might not be mere conincidence.Time will tell.
