This section started out with an old-style presentation on Power Eggs.
Salmon Run is a new team-based horde mode where you Kill Salmonids to collect Power Eggs, so you work together in order to get as many as possible but watch out for the Boss Salmonid who will deal some massive damage. If you do get taken out then you have a Lifesaver Ink Ring which means you can get revived by your team mates, go for the Golden Eggs and send them back to Inkopolis for exciting rewards.
New amiibo, boy, girl, squid... saves your setup, you also get an amiibo friend in-game
Nintendo Switch album, share on social media
Previous amiibo support
Oh, and the game comes out on July 21st!
That's it for this fairly brief summary on what was a rather direct... erm Nintendo Direct. Let us know what you thought of the showing in our comments section below or on our forums.
