Nintendo dominates Japan top 10

The latest Media Create charts are out, showing just how tight Nintendo's grip on the Japanese market has become.
The top 10 games in the software chart were all on Nintendo platforms - with six of those being first-party published. Big names were aided by the Obon holiday period, with many high profile games actually seeing an increase of sales compared to last week.
With that said, there were no new releases to break into the top 20, although there were still healthy numbers for the major trio of New Super Mario Bros. 2, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, and Dragon Quest X.
Here is the software chart for the week of August 13th to 19th.

Obon also injected a bit of cash into the hardware market, with most systems seeing increased sales - including 3DS, which stays healthily over the 100,000 mark once again. However, with the Dragon Quest X-effect clearly wearing off, it looks like Wii is waving goodbye to the top-end of the chart for likely the last time.
