Nintendo eShop new releases (week 03)
Posted 28 Jan 2022 at 23:26 by Sam C Gittins
A selection of new titles are now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
The main highlight for this week, Dobo's Heroes looks like an interesting Indie platformer on a budget, which has a light pastel art style, has been on the eShop since 17/01/2022 and is only £1.79. Perhaps it's worth picking up?
Deal of the week, Hammer Kid is a retro-style, action-platformer, with an emphasis on aesthetics and potentially challenging gameplay, it has been on the eShop since 22/01/2022 and is £1.79 until 30/01/2022.
Award for "This is a game?!?" goes to I Love Finding Pups! - Collector's Edition, which at least seems to offer exactly what is in its title. It's a game where you find dogs, in various backdrops across the world.
It's worth checking out the game page on the Nintendo UK site for Make the Burger, as it has a decent write up with its various selling points, a part live-action trailer combined with some gameplay, plus the title is only £2.59 until 09/02/2022. (You want fries with that? That'll be extra as DLC)
Are you looking for some new retro-styled games with either a Game Boy or 8-Bit/16 Bit aesthetic? Search for "Pixel Game Maker Series" on the eShop or the website for a slew of titles which seem to be well-made, at first glance.
Check out the list and click on the link at the bottom of the page to view them on the eShop, and from there you can access each game page.
