Following on from their Investors Meeting yesterday, Nintendo has confirmed that we will be getting more Switch news on January 13th.
In a press release issued this morning, Nintendo stated that the Switch Presentation taking place in mid-January will give details about the console launch and games. After the video last week it was stated that the games shown were not necessarily indicative of games coming out, but this event should confirm exactly what on-to-go games are coming our way.
Media outlets around the world will also be given a chance to get their hands on the console around the same time, so expect plenty of hands-on impressions and those nerdy details we all craze (such as what exactly is at the back of the dock). The Japanese media will be at the event itself too.
Nintendo has also confirmed that the public will be able to get their hands on the console around the same time too, so stay tuned for further information.
The exact time of the presentation will be announced in the "coming weeks" but it will be live-streamed for all to see.
Are you excited about the presentation? What are your launch expectations in terms of date, price and games? Let us know in the comments section below.
Please note: due to the difference in time zones it is taking place in America on January 12th, but the European press release does state the 13th here.
