Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that it is closing its offices at its Großostheim headquarters in a restructuring that will see 130 employees laid off.
Operations, and some personnel will be consolidated into NoE's Frankfurt office. The offices and the warehouse at Großostheim will be sold.
A statement from Nintendo said that the decision was made to allow "more long-term flexibility to changes in the games business".
Nintendo is due to make some more positive announcements on the gaming side of things during next week's E3 expo.
