Nintendo has finally announced some more details on its long awaited online subscription offering that was initially announced during the system reveal presentation back on January 2017.

Launching in September, you'll be able to purchase one, three, or twelve month subscription packages worth $3.99, $7.99 and $19.99 respectively. At the moment we only have the cost in American dollars, but we'll wager the price will be exactly the same in pounds.

The service will continue be free until September, after which paying will grant you access to online play, the online app, classic games selection, and exclusive eShop deals.

More information will undoubtedly and needs to be revealed before the launch, but at least we now know when we'll have to pay for the pleasure of Turf War'ing or Arms volleyball on our Switch's.
