Nintendo has kicked off the countdown to cheers and tears by launching its official E3 website for this year.
The portal counts down the days til Nintendo's main briefing: an hour-long Nintendo Direct which will show off the Wii U games scheduled to hit this autumn and beyond. Expect to see the likes The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and a new 3D Super Mario game, as well as first looks at Mario Kart and the next Super Smash Bros. title.
The Nintendo Direct will be broadcast on Tuesday June 11th at 3pm BST / 4pm CET.
Of course, Nintendo's E3 site will also be a hub for all the games - including those on 3DS - set to be heavily pushed during the rest of the E3 week.
We already know that we'll see the first glimpses of most of the major franchises - including perhaps the next Zelda title on Wii U - so it's difficult to see where the surprises will come from. Still, hype and expectation will surely reach a fever-pitch between now and the 11th, so what games are you hoping to see? Let us know below.
