Nintendo recently revealed, which was later confirmed by Famitsu, that the Nintendo Switch is now the best selling console of all time in Japan, having moved nearly 33 million units in the region.

This bodes well for the potential of it becoming the best selling console across the world, which it is edging ever closer to.

Nintendo has currently sold 141.32 million Switch consoles, and predict to have sold 154.82 million by the end of this fiscal year.

The current best selling game console of all time is the PlayStation 2, with sales of 155 million.
