A new update is live for the Nintendo Switch Online: NES app that gives subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online access to a growing database of NES titles. The February update brings the app up to version 2.2.0, and with it comes a bunch of new titles to play.
Kirby's Adventure joins the line-up. It originally launched in 1993, and was the second game starring Kirby. Since the game came out late in the lifecycle of the NES, it features some impressive visuals. It also introduced Kirby's copy ability, a feature that has stuck around since (as many of you who are playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate probably can tell!).
Super Mario Bros. 2 is the second game that is added. It is famed for its different playstyle, which comes from the fact that the game is based on Doki Doki Panic. It introduced Princess Toadstool and Toad as playable characters next to Mario and Luigi.
Two new SP versions also come with the update. Another SP version of Metroid gives you every power-up and ability to start with. In Blaster Master SP you start in area 8, also fully equipped.
