Nintendo Switch OS leaked

One lucky NeoGAF user under the name of Hiphoptherobot managed to get their Nintendo Switch pre-order early by mistake and have recorded themselves using the system for the first time.
With Nintendo being typically quiet about all things Switch, this is the first time we have properly seen the OS in action and while we already knew what the main screen looked like, there are some hidden extras shown off in the video.
For starters, the OS looks very sleek and minimalist, a stark difference to the rather busy and somewhat disjointed design of the Wii U. One benefit of seeing the OS in action is that we can now see just how snappy it is, appearing to be the quickest OS on a Nintendo system to date.
The video shows a news section which will update folks on Nintendo happenings and it appears your Nintendo account no longer requires a Mii and instead allows you to choose an image from a selection of famous Nintendo characters.
Themes are also present, so it seems you'll be able to customise the look of your system from day one. The OS currently doesn't seem to have any menu music and as far as we can tell there's no sign of a friends list either. Take a look at the video for yourself and see what you think.
