Nintendo lifted the lid on the launch details of the Switch this morning, confirming that it would be coming out on March 3rd worldwide and would cost £280 in the UK (and varying prices around Europe looking at retailers).  However, one thing was less clear - what games would be coming out?

They confirmed that the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be coming out alongside the console, but were less specific about most games they showed.

Now Nintendo UK has confirmed what launch titles we'll be getting and it's not as many as some may have hoped:

The Nintendo Switch will launch with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1 2 Switch, Super Bomberman R, Skylanders Imaginators and Just Dance 2017.  Later in the month Snipperclips, Fast Max and Has Been Heroes will also launch.

Following this Nintendo has confirmed 26 games will come out during 2017, including those at launch, but of course we expect a lot more to be announced.  A few months after the release of the console E3 will take place and we fully expect a flurry of new games announced, as well as during Nintendo Directs during the year.
