Nintendo Switch Ver. 11.0.0 system update rolls out

The Nintendo Switch has received another major update, bringing the version number to 11.0.0. Quite a few new features are added to the system.

First of all a dedicated button for the Nintendo Switch Online service is added to the HOME Menu, which launches an app showing all functions and extras you get with the subscription service.

Further the options for cloud saves have expanded. When using software with the same Nintendo Account linked to multiple systems, save data backed up from one console will automatically be downloaded to your other system(s).

A bunch of new player icons are added to celebrate Mario's 35th birthday. Also, there now is a "trending" tab on your user page, showing what your friends are playing.

Screenshots can now be shared either through a PC with USB, or by smartphone using a QR code. Further, you can now prioritize your downloads, when more than one download is in progress.

And there are some more features as well. If you are interested in all changes, you can read the full patch notes here.
