Nintendo has confirmed that their exciting new Wii U app, Nintendo TVii, is set to release in Europe as well as North America. 

Nintendo TVii should land in Europe some time in 2013 across "selected regions" according to Nintendo's UK website, though sadly no more details have been shared. 

The app brings together lots of different video content from the likes of Netflix, Sky and LoveFilm, in one easy to use hub. The app has many social features as well as the option to use the second screen for additional information. 

Whilst watching a program, the second screen might display information about the actors involved, or show related tweets, or even live scoreboards if you're watching sports.

The app is set to be made available in December for Wii U owners in North America.
