Nintendo's E3 Direct coming on June 11th

Nintendo has confirmed that its E3 Nintendo Direct will air worldwide on Tuesday June 11th.

Rather than having a main press conference at E3 like in previous years, Nintendo will instead reveal its future Wii U games via a pre-recorded Nintendo Direct broadcast. The Japanese giant will still have a presence on the showfloor in Los Angeles to showcase its games.

A Nintendo Direct was broadcast last week to show off and date the Wii U titles scheduled to release in spring and summer. The E3 Direct will showcase Wii U games to be released in autumn and beyond, and will likely reveal first-party big hitters like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. 4, and the new 3D Mario title.

The European broadcast will air simultaneously with the North American and Japanese addresses at 3pm BST / 4pm CET.
