NIS America, publisher of titles such as Ys VIII and SNK Heroines held a big streaming event yesterday, showcasing what they are planning for 2019. The Nintendo Switch was richly represented with 7 titles. Two of these are new announcements: The Alliance Alive HD Remastered and Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers.
The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is, surprisingly, an HD remaster of The Alliance Alive that came out of the stables of Cattle Call. This RPG originally released on the Nintendo 3DS, and the remaster will make the dual-screen features work on a single screen, with updated graphics. Several (physical) versions will be available, such as an Awakening Edition that comes with 9 cut-out paper dolls, and a Limited Edition that features a hardcover artbook and the soundtrack.
In Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers you take on the role of Sherry, who is accompanied by the time-traveling robot named Isaac. Not much more is revealed yet, but the reveal trailer looks promising. This game will also receive a Limited Edition and a launch-day Time Capsule Edition.
A bunch of other games were shown off in the almost 2,5-hour long Showcase. Here is a summary of the release dates for Switch mentioned in it:
- The Caligula Effect: Overdose - March 12, 2019
- The Princess Guide - March 26, 2019
- Neo ATLAS 1469 - April 9, 2019
- Lapis x Labyrinth - May 28, 2019
- The Alliance Alive HD Remastered - Fall 2019
- Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers - Fall 2019
- RPG Maker MV - 2019
