The home screen of the Nintendo Switch Online app, accessible from the Nintendo Switch homepage, has undergone a slight re-design, as can be seen in the banner image above.

The homepage now has a slightly simpler look, with the option to scroll through the top NSO news of the week by pressing the R button. Performance of the app is still somewhat laggy, but there seems to be a marginal improvement from what it once was.

Home screen aside, functionality seems mostly the same as always, and you’ll be able to find your NSO icons, and be able to redeem new icons, in the usual places.

It seems like curious timing given that there is a Nintendo Direct airing later today! Could it be a coincidence, or could there be more NSO/menu changes incoming?
