In a recent Tweet Nintendo of Europe has thanked everyone on behalf of Square Enix for supporting Octopath Traveler. According to Nintendo, the game has already sold more than one million copies (physical and digital numbers combined).
The RPG managed to sell these numbers within less than a month. Octopath Traveler was released on July 13 this year. The game combines traditional JRPG gameplay with an old-meets-new artstyle. In it you follow the path of eight different protagonists.
