One Piece: Romance Dawn was released last year on the PSP but will now be arriving on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan (August 8) & Europe soon. Sadly Namco has "No plans" to release the game in North America.

So far we know that the story covers Monkey D. Luffy's (main character of the series) childhood up until the Marineford arc.

Other changes include a new dash ability for Luffy. Namco are also making use of the 3DS' duel-screens by keeping the map on the touch screen. The difficulty has also been tweaked for younger players and newcomers alike, those who have played the PSP original may notice a difference in enemy stregnth and item synthesis.

No release date has been given for One Piece: Romance Dawn, but in the meantime you can check out the game's promo trailer below.
