The highly anticipated Pikmin 3 has been pushed back to a 'Spring 2013' release in North America according to the latest Iwata Asks. 

The title was originally set to release in the Wii U 'launch window' across the US, which ends on March 31st.

Sadly, yet unsurprisingly, there were no mentions of a European release date. 

For those of you desperate for some Pikmin action though, don't forgot that those pesky little plants will feature in Wii U launch title Nintendo Land. The final 3 mini-games to appear in Nintendo Land were revealed earlier today.

Are you looking forward to Pikmin 3 on Wii U? It sure has been a long wait, but hopefully it will be worth it.
