Plethora of new 3DS eShop titles announced, including Pullblox sequel

Tonight's Nintendo Direct had a distinctly digital theme, as the highlight was arguably a spree of new eShop games announced for Europe.

First and foremost is a brand new sequel to perhaps the best game on the service - Fallblox, following on from last year's Pullblox. As the name suggests, a theme in Fallblox is to pull blocks so they fall down to the ground, opening up new paths for our hero Mallo, who is as ever trying to reach to goal at the top. Fallblox contains around 140 new levels, and like before features a robust stage creator and QR-code sharing options. Fallblox is due out in November.

Next up is Hana Samurai: Art of the Sword, which we seem to remember being released everywhere else as Sakura Samurai yonks ago. The game features a tactical combat system, which teaches players to strategically 'dodge and slice'. It will be out next week, on October 11th.

Another sequel comes in form of a follow-up to a WiiWare gem. Hydroventure: Spin Cycle arrives with the same addictive and puzzling gameplay as its predecessor, which sees you having to guide a splurge of water through various obstacles and to the end of the stage. Features include being able to control the water by tilting and rotating your 3DS system. It's due out in December.

Also coming is Nano Assault EX from Shin'en, to coincide with the studio's gorgeous-looking Wii U launch title Nano Assault Neo. The fast-paced shooter is due out on the eShop at an unspecified time later this year.

Finally is the frankly weird-looking title from Genius Sonority, The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave. This game has you using augmented reality to search for tiny little men in a dungeon crawler-like set-up. It's due out "soon".
