The Wii's coming: but what about the Gamcube? We discuss its successes, failures, and name our favourite games. Sony slagging included.

Three days later, and we've another podcast for you, you lucky people. Had a few problems with microphone delays, so apologies for the odd bit of confusion in the show, but it's pretty minimal. Again, Nik went to Nintendo for some Wii playtime on the main titles, you can ask questions and we'll be going over them on Friday's double-figured N-Europe Show #10. The Wii is coming, but what about our faithful Gamecube? Slow news week this week, so we take the Gamecube's legacy to task. Where did it succeed? Where did it fall down? What were the defining titles? (hint: we like Metroid Prime) The little console that tried so hard, like a sort of Disney cartoon character. It's the last word on the console... until we get bored and write some articles before the Wii launch. Also: obligatory complaining about Sony, and this week's (pretty sub-par) releases.
