Many gamers started off with Pokémon Red and Blue 20 years ago and later this year they can look forward to the newest games in the series, Pokémon Sun and Moon.

In preperation for the new titles, Nintendo is reducing the price of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow on the Nintendo eShop Virtual Console.

The popular titles will be €6.99 (down from €9.99) from July 14th until July 28th, giving you just two weeks to get these titles at their reduced price.

A future update of Pokémon Bank will allow you to transfer pokémon from these games to Sun and Moon, so it's worth picking them up now and start training.
