Nintendo has confirmed that Pokémon Rumble U will be releasing on the European Wii U eShop on August 15th.

The game is the third entry in the Rumble spin-off series, which leverages arena-style action rather than the turn-based nature of the main games. It is also the first Pokémon title to release on Wii U.

Pokémon Rumble U features all 649 Pokémon which have appeared right up to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. When the game released in Japan, it took advantage of the Wii U's NFC feature, with Nintendo releasing Pokémon figurines to interact with the game. Nintendo has not yet revealed plans for this feature in Europe.
