After the Pokémon Rumble U trailer a few days ago, it seems the Poké news just can't stop flooding in! Today, were graced with two trailers, one for the upcoming 3DS titles Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and another for the new movie.
The short Pokémon X and Y trailer shows the recently revealed Mewtwo-esque Pokémon, now known as 'Awakened Mewtwo' turning into its new form. Sadly, there's still not much known about the new, cuter version of our depressed purple alien.
It seems he's going to be playing a rather big role this year in the world of Pokémon though, as he's also headlining the new film Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens.
In the trailer below we get a feel for the movie, and it's another bodacious outing by the looks of things. Explosions, a screaming Ash Ketchum and a distressed Pikachu... some things never change.
Indeed, Genesect is busy attacking Ash and Pikachu until Mewtwo steps in and shields them. Then, Genesect decides that's not on at all, and gives Pikachu a good thrashing before Awakened Mewtwo arrives on the scene.
There's also a brief glimpse of the short movie that will accompany the film, called Pikachu and Eevee Friends. The short film will feature all Eevee evolutions, including the new ones announced for Pokémon X and Y.
Finally, a new Pokémon Rumble U figure has been revealed (pictured right), and it's just as ugly as the other ones. Everyone's least favourite Smash Bros. character (how on earth could he replace MewTwo?) is set to be available to purchase on launch day in Japan.
