Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon brings a brand new challenge to gamers

Fans of the Pokémon series will be in for a challenge when Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon launches on November 17th according to new details revealed today.

WARNING: Story spoilers contained below.

Fans of the series will remember Giovanni, who was the boss of Team Rocket in Red and Blue.  He is set to make a return in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as the head of Team Rainbow Rocket, which contains bosses from previous titles in the series.  The all-star villains will feature the likes of Ghetsis, Lysandre and more.

However, help is at hand as travelling through an Ultra Wormwhole will encounter Ultra Beasts and Legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo, Ho-Oh and Lugia.  These Legendary Pokémon will differ between game versions, meaning you'll have to connect with other gamers to get them all.

Helping you out in your battles is also the Battle Agency, which gives you the chance to rent powerful Pokémon for battling simply by donning sunglasses and becoming an agent.  Your goal is to beat all the other agents, receiving items along the way, and to connect to other players to unlock more powerful rental Pokémon.

In what is becoming a staple on Nintendo consoles, players can also collect stickers from across the region.  These Totem Stickers will allow you to unlock large totem-like Pokémon, which of course differ between the two games.

The QR scanner will also return in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, enabling you to encounter Pokémon that weren't featured in Sun and Moon such as Charmander, Grovyle, Greninja and more.
