In case you missed it tucked away in the release list article, today's Nintendo Direct address has provided firm confirmation that the 3DS cross-over title Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney will release in Europe some time next year.

The title is a collaboration between Level-5 and Capcom, with the puzzle-solving gent teaming up with the sharp-headed Phoenix Wright of the Ace Attorney series in a unique puzzle-adventure.

The game released in Japan towards the end of 2012, but it is finally coming to both Europe and North America next year.

Not long ago, it was also confirmed that the fifth Ace Attorney title - Dual Destinies - would finally be seeing a release in Europe later this year, though as of now it will only be released on the 3DS eShop.
