Bandai Namco has released the first English trailer for the 3DS-exclusive tactical RPG which slams together characters from its own, Sega's, and Capcom's rosters.

Project X Zone was surprisingly confirmed for a western release shortly after it launched in Japan late last year. The game was co-developed by Super Robot Wars creator Banpresto and Nintendo first-party studio Monolith Soft.

Over 50 playable characters will be available, from franchises as diverse as Resident Evil, Mega Man, Tales of..., Devil May Cry, and Valkyria Chronicles.
