The critically acclaimed 3DS survival horror game, Resident Evil Revelations, is set to strut (or indeed, slowly shuffle) its way onto Wii U on May 24th, and you can see what the game is like for yourself right now.
Indeed, if you head on over to the eShop you can download a free demo and see what all the fuss is about, after the 3DS game was met with such critical acclaim. If you don't stumble upon the demo on the front page, scroll down to the bottom where you'll find the 'Wii U Demos' tab and it should be sitting proudly at the top of that list.
Resident Evil Revelations was met with universal praise when it released early in 2012 on 3DS, thanks to its engaging story, fantastic graphics and a return to form for the Resident Evil series. Indeed, after a rather disappointing response for Resident Evil 5 and 6, Revelations is said to be one of the best titles in the series for years.
The Wii U version boasts updated, HD graphics along with some Miiverse fun for good measure.
In celebration of its release on May 24th, Capcom, being the mad scientists they are, will be holding an event for the title in London on May 25th and 26th which involves a blood filled 16ft pool, over one metre in depth.
Indeed, taking place in London's Jupiter Wharf, fans/victims will be lured to the pool by traversing a dark path. Inside the blood filled pool (which is actually water made with a non-staining dye, phew) will be plenty of Resident Evil treats, zombie lifeguards, intestines and human torso floats.
According to Adam Merrett, Capcom's UK PR Manager, they're 'thrilled to be making the first blood swimming pool'.
"Zombies have been kept very busy lately doing a variety of PR stunts, so rather than do the expected, we wanted to give them some time off for canal side relaxation in London.
To non-zombies, the swimming pool will be shocking, gory and an incredibly disturbing experience - the perfect way to show that survival horror is back with a bang for Resident Evil Revelations."
Are you excited for Resident Evil Revelations? Be sure to try out the demo for yourself and see whether or not it's worth a blood filled pool.
