Resident Evil Revelations, one of the most highly regarded entries in the series for years, is set to shuffle its way onto the Wii U in Europe on May 24th.

The remake will feature enhanced graphics, improved lighting and of course, HD visuals. It's not all about the gruesome looks though, as the title also boasts new enemies, a new difficulty mode, a new playable character, GamePad maps and weapon additions. 

The original game is currently one of the most highly rated titles on 3DS so this is great news for hungry Wii U owners. 

Revelations throws you in the shoes of Jill Valentine who has to traverse an 'abandoned' cruise ship along with her partner, Parker, to find missing ally Chris Redfield. 

Sadly for them though, their casual search is disturbed by a huge onslaught of hideous monsters, infected wolves and other awful beings. 

Nintendo are set to hold a Nintendo Direct tomorrow at 2pm so be sure to watch that as it may reveal more juicy details about the upcoming Capcom title.
