With just under a week before the official announcement the rumours about European pricing and dates are coming in thick and fast.

On Wednesday 19th Nintendo will officially announce the release date and price of the 3DS in America and Europe but that doesn't stop a bit of speculation before hand. According to MCV they have been led to believe the console will hit shelves on March 25th for around �200-230.

This is in line with Nintendo's March window and the Japanese pricing, as the 3DS will cost around the same price as the Wii did when it came out over there. Other retailers such as Best Buy, WH Smiths and The Hut have listed the console at �300 on their websites.

Of course with only a week to go until the official details are announced there's not too long to wait until we find out whether these speculations are accurate.
