The cult 'Vania title gets rated on Australia's classification board...

Here's some nice news for retro fans. The Australian classification board OFLC has rated Castlevania: Rondo of Blood for the Virtual Console.

The popular Castlevania title was originally released in 1993 on the Japanese PC Engine, and later ported to the SNES as Dracula X (or Vampire's Kiss in Europe). It looks like this Virtual Console iteration is the original, superior Rondo of Blood, thankfully.

It seems that Rondo of Blood is pretty much set for an Australian Virtual Console release soon, so fingers crossed for a European release early next year.
