A quick piece of news here - the word is Nintendo is working on a new Donkey Kong game for Revolution...

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu is reporting in its newest issue that Nintendo have a new Donkey Kong game in the pipeline. Nothing else about the game was mentioned, but the article also confirmed what we already knew: that new incarnations of Smash Bros., Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles were also being made.

As one of Nintendo's flagship franchises, Donkey Kong is almost certain to appear on Nintendo's next home console at some point. But as a full 3D platformer? Or will we be seeing more Bongo-controlled action? We'll bring you more news as we get it.
