Are Nintendo about to drop the price of the Wii in Europe? Rumours say so, including talk of a special new bundle...

Our friends over at Jeux-France have a source within Nintendo of France that reports a European price drop for the Wii is imminent. This isn't surprising, since Microsoft's Xbox 360 was cut in price last month.

Apparently, the standard Wii and Wii Sports bundle will fall to �119/�149, with a new bundle including a copy of Mario Kart Wii set to launch for �159/�199, still a drop on the current price.

It is certainly a dramatic price drop across the board, but will it play out? We'll hopefully be hearing more soon.
