Nintendo have a European press event planned for September 15th, just after a similar one in the States. What's afoot?

Nintendo have announced a press conference to be held in London, England on September 15th 2006. This is one day after a similar press event to be held in the US. While the specific nature of what will be talked about and/or revealed hasn't been stated, it isn't particularly hard to guess.

The company has stated that they will need to reveal the Wii's launch date and pricing information by the end of September to get things ready for launch sometime (hopefully not too long) after.

We'd say to all Nintendo fans - keep yourselves locked to N-E on the 14th and 15th of September for the official news first.
