Locally Grown, a website and weekly podcast about Northfield Minnesota, discovered that neighbor videogame developer Monster Games, responsible for the great, but often overlooked Excite Truck is "working on a top-secret video game for Nintendo".

Development has started two years ago and is supposedly nearly finished, so maybe we'll see it in a near future? The process is so secretive that "the designers must darken their monitors when the bottled-water deliveryman enters the office.". New Excite Truck, Excite Bike or a totally new project? Your guess is as good as ours, but Monster Games has a contract with Nintendo, so it could be a well known IP. This seems legitimate and reliable, but better safe then sorry, so for now let's class it as a rumor.
