Rumour: First Wii 2 Game Announced?

A Majesco press release hints at when the Wii's successor may be launched...

With their hit dancing game Zumba Fitness sat on top of the UK video game charts, Majesco have today announced that a sequel will be available for Wii in time for Christmas.

However, the press release includes a hint that the game may also be coming to the successor to the Wii, which will be unveiled at E3. The press release reads:

"Zumba Fitness 2 will launch on Wii this holiday season and another-to-be announced platform in early 2012."

The original game has also been released for the Playstation Move and Kinect platforms, so it is not unrealistic to think that the sequel will come to them too. But this news suggests Zumba Fitness 2 will also come to a console we haven't yet seen.

It also suggests the Wii 2, or Project Café, will be released sooner rather than later in 2012. One thing is sure though, all will be clear in just under a month's time.
