The new Castlevania is titled while a former PSP-only creation is making the DS jump...

Orange Lounge Radio is reporting that Konami has given major retailers a release list updated with a number of new titles. Among those titles are two intriguing DS announcements. The first names the upcoming Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow sequel as Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. The second DS title comes as a bit of a surprise: Death Jr. is purportedly making the cross-platform jump onto the dual screens in an adventure titled Death Jr: Science Fair of Doom.

Note that we have not yet authenticated these reports, but that they are inline with recent Death Jr. rumours and the pending blowout coverage of this new Castlevania planned for the next issue of Nintendo Power. We will have more details (and confirmation of this report) as soon as we get them.
