According to Kotaku, we will be playing a new RPG this fall starring Mario and the Rabbids. Kotaku claims they have received assets showing aspects of the game, which is dubbed "Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle".

The game features stars from the Mario universe and Ubisoft's Rabbids, made famous by the Rayman series and the partygames on the Wii.

The game will feature two player co-op, turn-based gameplay and the typical humour you can expect from the Rabbids. It is being published by Ubisoft.

Rumours of this game have been going around for a while. We may have already seen a hint in Ubisoft's 30th Anniversary video, where Mario and friends were displayed wearing Rabbid ears (below, pause at 0:24).
