Mario and Sonic may well be reuniting for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Details inside...

In unsurprising news, Sega are apparently prepping a sequel to the chart-dominating 10+ million seller Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, which will be set around the 2010 Winter Olympics coming up in Vancouver.

The revelation was broken by Spanish magazine Nintendo Accion, who have teased the following about their next issue:

"Who are these two and why do they come to see each other? Find out all the details on the mystery game in the next magazine. But before that, here are some clues: Games, Olympics, Cold, It's Winter?"

Apparently the title will be out for Christmas 2009. We say apparently, because this the game is technically still not confirmed. But the likelihood of this being true? 99.999999 percent.
