Jonathan Ross suggests that Metroid may be shown for the 3DS on Wednesday.

In two days time Nintendo of Europe will announce their release details for the 3DS at a press event in Amsterdam. Jonathan Ross, the British presenter, will be hosting the event and has suggested that Metroid might be on show.

According to Nintendo World Report the presenter tweeted that he will be hosting the event. He was asked by several follows what to expect and when one said he is keeping his fingers crossed for Metroid Jonathan Ross responded with "I think you're going to be pleased then...".

Of course at the moment this is just a rumour but hopefully we won't have to wait until after Wednesday to find out if Samus Aran is getting the 3D treatment.
