A North American retailer informs us that more Nintendo Selects titles will be available soon.

North American retailer VGP Canada contacted us to inform us that a new wave of 'Nintendo Selects' titles will be released in North America and Canada from August 28th. The four games will be reduced to 19.99 CAD/US and feature brand new sleeves that showcase their budget prices.

At the moment the news is not confirmed by Nintendo so we will treat it as a rumour but the source is a respected one and it is probable that Nintendo would be reducing these titles. The games that are said to be joining the Nintendo Selects range are Mario Strikers Charged, Punch Out Wii, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario.

The European Nintendo Selects range already features Mario Strikers Charged so it seems likely it would make its way to North America eventually. Given that there is no official confirmation from Nintendo at present we don't know if European gamers can expect a new set of titles but perhaps we will get the three listed above and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as that is a Nintendo Selects title in North America. They also have Mario Super Sluggers in the range but seeing as that's not even been released in Europe we doubt it will be now.
