Rumour: New Goldeneye For Wii?

The existence of a new Goldeneye title for Wii is doing the rounds - full details inside!

Dubbed "Goldeneye 2010", this new title in the James Bond series for the Wii has been spotted in the CV of an ex-Eurocom animator who worked on the franchise for its current holders developers.

The animator, Craig Peck, apparently worked on "key frame animation, the preparation and clean-up of motion capture data, prop animation, in-game cut-scene animation, scene layout, and camera animation." Could this be a re-make of the original Goldeneye, or something else entirely?

Back in the days of the N64, Brit developers Rare held the rights to the Bond series and made the critically acclaimed Goldeneye 007 which many fans still see as the pinnacle of the series. EA tried to cash-in on this a few years back, by releasing GoldenEye: Rogue Agent about an ex-MI6 agent literally with a... golden eye. We're still having nightmares.

Here's hoping "Goldeneye 2010", if it does exist, turns out to be something more interesting. We'll keep you guys posted.
