Rumour: New Wii Hardware On Its Way?

Reports suggesting that not one but two potential new pieces of hardware could be heading for the Wii...

As N-Europe recently reported, rumours are circulating that Nintendo are set to unveil new hardware at E3 next month.

Gemtek Technology are reportedly set to release Wii branded routers in the second half of 2007, with plans to shift as many as 50,000 by the year end. So for those who don't have a wireless router as part of their PC set up and who have issues with the DS Dongle this could be the perfect solution if released at a reasonable price.

The second rumour is one that refuses to disappear; the Wii HDD add-on. The reason this has resurfaced once again is due to a recent IGN podcast where the size of future Virtual Console games is discussed, specifically those of the Neo Geo which is set to be added this summer. It was speculated that a Hard-drive is on the way sometime soon. This would fit in with the raft of rumours that have been flying around for ages that one would be announced at some point.
