Rumour: Nintendo Lets You Feel the Next Console

Another rumour about the successor to the Wii suggests the console will be called Nintendo Feel and for a very good reason.

A new rumour, courtesy of Loading.se and translated by GoNintendo, suggests that the successor to the Wii will be called Nintendo Feel.

The rumour suggests that the controller will have haptic feedback capabilities. While the technology has been used on touch screen devices for years recent technological developments has made it possible to replicate the feel of a variety of textures. According to the rumour the controller will allow you to feel different textures.

The rumour also indicates that the Vitality Sensor, revealed a few years ago but not seen since, may be a large part of the upcoming console.

As always Nintendo won't respond to rumours and they should be taken with a pinch of salt. The next few weeks will be filled with various contradictory and sometimes ludicrous rumours, and this one seems to lean closer to the latter, but at least Nintendo has confirmed that the console will be shown at E3 so we only have five more weeks to wait.
