Let's Play Videogames states that they have spoken to two individual sources who claim that the Nintendo Switch will retail for £199.99 when it launches in the UK next year.

According to their report their sources indicate that GAME will sell the console for £199.99.  Nintendo do not provide recommended retail prices in Europe so this will be a price set by GAME themselves, although likely to be indicative of what retailers will charge.

This however is just the basic model, with a higher-capacity storage and an unspecified game included version set to retail for £249.99.  The Switch Pro Controllers are rumoured to be priced at £39.99.

Allegedly Nintendo is looking to make prices comparable across regions (in spite of several economies fluctuating a lot recently) to push the region-free aspect, although that too is just a rumour at this stage.

Of course we don't expect any information until Nintendo announce more details on January 12th (unless they do another announcement after that one).  Until such time this is just considered a rumour.
