The European release date for Pokémon Black & White has apparently been announced and it is sooner than expected.

Last week we reported that Pokémon Black & White had been given an American release date of March 6th, 2011. According to Gamekyo the European release date has now been announced as March 4th, 2011.

While we don't wish to suggest Gamekyo are reporting false information, as they are a reliable website, this has yet to be confirmed by Nintendo and their website still lists a "Spring 2011" date. We'll obviously keep you updated with new information as it breaks.

The official European website for the titles does contain new information about the new Pokémon available within the titles. As well as the English names for numerous Pokémon the name of the new Professor, Professor Juniper, and the main city, Castelia City, are also confirmed.
