Portuguese Nintendo fans can cry tears of joy, as Concentra will cease to be the official Nintendo distributor.

While no official statement has been issued yet, most sources state with certainty that Concentra, Nintendo's distributor in Europe's westernmost country for over 10 years, will stop being so come March 2009.

Rumour has it that Nintendo will be opening an office in the Portuguese capital Lisbon and allegedly, Nintendo of Spain will handle distribution to both countries, changing name to Nintendo Ibérica.

Please note that this isn't 100% confirmed, but chances it's true are good, so maybe the days of pulling out hair in frustration over incredibly late games, inflated prices, no Star points and crummy little black & white manuals will be over fellow Portuguese Nintendo fans.
