Looks like a Mario-themed red Wii will also be heading to Europe this year...

Earlier this week, we revealed a very special red Wii set to release in Japan to celebrate 25 years of Super Mario Bros. While there was no word that the gorgeous bundle would make it to the west, the following image has cropped up, suggesting Europe will receive its own version this year.

It looks like the bundle is set to include Wii Sports and New Super Mario Bros Wii, as well as the portly plumber's first outing Donkey Kong pre-loaded onto the system. Also note the inclusion of a newfangled MotionPlus-embedded Wii Remote Plus.

Nintendo has given no official word on the bundle heading to Europe, so this could be a very elaborate hoax. Keep it locked to N-E as we await a confirmation...
